Graduated from De La Salle University in 1993 with a degree in Political Science and minor in Humanities. He thereafter attained his Bachelor of Laws Degree from San Beda College of Law in 1998. He is a member and former President of Lex Talionis Fraternitas, an exclusive fraternal organization of Filipino jurists, legal practitioners and law students.
Mr. Castillo has extensive experience in the field of Labor Law and Immigration Law. Prior to joining SPCMB, he was an Associate in Del Rosario Raboca Gonzales Grasparil Law Offices from 1999 to 2004. He was also the Senior Legal Counsel of the Philippine Trade and General Workers’ Organization – TUCP from 2013 to 2014. Thereafter, he became a Partner of Lazaro Castillo & Dela Cruz Law Offices from 2004 to 2015. Mr. Castillo joined SPCMB as Partner in 2016.
